Grant Aislabie L.L.B.
Grant obtained his law degree from Auckland University and has previously practiced in Tauranga. He left in 2000 to take up the position of Principal Disputes Tribunal Referee in Wellington. After completing this contract Grant returned to Auckland where he continued to practice law.
Grant brings to the firm comprehensive experience in Dispute Resolution, preferring negotiation and mediation to Litigation. In addition, he has expertise in all aspects of Conveyancing and Property Law, Commercial Law, settlement of Relationship Property issues as well as Wills, Estate Administration and Trusts.
Outside of the office his interests are motorcycle touring, some off seal riding and a variety of motor sports.
Clive Gardner L.L.B.
Clive has a law degree from Otago University. Clive is an experienced lawyer specialising in all aspects of property including subdivisions, property development, agreements for sale and purchase of residential, business and commercial property including leases.
Out of the office Clive’s interests include tennis, mountain biking, traveling and keeping in touch with his children. Clive is a past member of the Mount Maunganui Primary School Board and Pillans Point Primary School Board and more recently as trustee of Tauranga RDA Arena Charitable Trust which built a one million dollar arena at Welcome Bay and is honorary lawyer for various community organisations.
Grant Cawley L.L.B.
Grant has a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science (1994) and obtained a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from Waikato University in 2015. He started his legal career in Hamilton and has a background in commercial and property law. In a previous life Grant taught English in Japan and South Korea for many years, and worked as a public servant upon returning to New Zealand.
Outside of the office, Grant likes to play golf, go surfing and loves to travel.
Originally from Whangarei, Michele has lived in Mount Maunganui since 2000 after returning from the UK. Before joining CG Law in August 2017, she worked in law firms in NZ and the UK and has had 7 years’ experience with a Trustee Corporation.
Michele is experienced in Estate planning and Estate administration, including Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Trusts and conveyancing. Michele also has experience with Court applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 to seek appointment of Property Managers and Welfare Guardians where no Enduring Power of Attorney is in place.
Jenni has over 20 years experience in all aspects of trust accounting and administration. Jenni is a NZLS Qualified Trust Accountant Administrator, managing the trust account, office accounts, HR and liaises with suppliers. Before moving to Papamoa in 2011, Jenni had worked for various law firms in Auckland and more recently has worked for a boutique law firm in Tauranga before joining the team at CG Law in February 2018.
Jenni loves the lifestyle that the Bay of Plenty has to offer and enjoys travelling with her husband and two children.
Teresa has worked many years as a Legal Secretary, as far afield as Queenstown. Having moved to Papamoa from Thames with her husband and two children, Teresa was welcomed to the team in 2014.
Teresa enjoys the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Leanne has been in the legal industry since 2013 and joined the team at CG Law in February 2018 working for Clive Gardner as his Legal Secretary. Leanne is currently completing her New Zealand Diploma in Legal Executive Studies at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.
Originally from Auckland, Leanne has travelled the world backpacking, worked on super yachts and has completed her Padi Scuba Dive Instructor Certificate. She is passionate about the outdoors, travel and family life.
Graduating in 2017 as a Legal Executive from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, Kaylee joined the team at CG Law in March 2018. Kaylee provides a friendly face when entering the firm. Kaylee wishes to further her knowledge and skills within the legal industry.
Outside of the office, Kaylee enjoys dance, spending time with family and indoor netball.
